long time no hear ...
well due to some issues i have been lazy concerning scale modelling but spent my modelling time with figure painting ... okok - i know the place for figures is planetfigure but i upload them to show you the crews i am planning to man my vehicles with (i am sick of my ghost panzers driven by invisibles ... can't see them anymore on my shelf)
although knowing all the tricks it's stunning how much of skills get lost when you don't paint figures for a very long time so i am still in the phase of training and am not satisfied (as always) with my output ...
here we got the commander of dragon's "achtung jabo" set finally (almost) finished:
the second figure from that set with an exchange head (hornet if i am right) - i messed up several spots including the right eye:
those figgies just got their primer and one got an exchange head just dry fitted:
this is the pipe smoking commander from peddinghaus - i am afraid i'll have to redo the face and the trousers are far away from what i tried to do but as mentioned i am still in the phase of training to reawake my painting skills - maybe i'll cut off the head and replace it:

sadly all the shadows and highlights aren't that visible in the pictures ... every figure has at least two sets of shadows and highlights and on all figures i still have to do some paintwork - hands on all figures, boots on some, crusher cap corrections on the peddinghaus figure and so on and so on and so on ...
all figures are primed with tamiya primer, faces pre painted with airbrush with tamiya sand yellow and the paintworks are done with oil colors ...
