Hello,
This is the DML early Hetzer. It is good kit, not as well detailed as the XXI century kits, but I belive that it is still the best 'Hetzer' kit available.
I've built it
almost OOB...

I've reworked the front leaf-springs to achieve a nose-down profile of this SPG. The idler wheels are from the Eduard kit. I've made new perforated box on the right mudguard, and the new MG was added. I've taken a jack from the Tamiya Pz IV tool set, and the jack-block from DML's new Aufklärungspanzer 38(t).
Texture on the mantlet and
Kugellafette was made with the Tamiya putty and toothbrush.
Kit is rather simple and parts fitting is very good. Only tracks doesn't fit the spockets well, but one should repleace the DML's tracks with appropriate early ones (Modelkastens/Friuls) if one want to make an accurate early version of the 'Hetzer'.
I've painted it using Humbrols and Modelmaster emanels. Weathering have been done with the oils, pastels chalks and the Agama pigments. As a reference I've used the color plate in the Osprey New Vanguard 'Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer' - it shows an BMM's early production Hetzer (May '44)...
I hope you like it

Regards,
Mateusz
