this is my latest tiny project, the tamiya uss bouge set as cve 21 uss Block island.
The idea came from a picture of the uss Bismarck Sea replenishing aircraft from barges. Picture visible in "escort carriers in action" by squadron , and larger in "aircraft carriers" by Roger Chesneau books.
Barge, crane and fresh food trawler are scratch. Just some etching railings and some weathering to add a life, that's all.
Calm harbour sea is watercolor card, with a shallow-water effect made with some transparent filters i'm testing.
