For those who have not heard the news the Japanese modeller known as THOMA was apparently murdered earlier this week (it was originally thought to be suicide but after reading his web blog where he wrote about his excitement at meeting his new girlfriends parents the day before he died the police are now treating the case as murder staged to look like a suicide) it appears that his new girlfriend had something of a history of partners dying unexpectedly... his work is quite well known and a modeller of his skill will certainly be sorely missed.
