Panzerkampfwagen IV 1:35 Tamiya

Hi Folks
I am opening this thread hoping to finish here Tamiyas Pz. IV someday. Of course this will be a future froject, for second half of this year as now its a priority for me to complete StuG for the group build than Panther Steel Wheel and after that I hope to play with Tamiyas kit in this thead. I have not specified the Ausfuehrung that I am going to build here as I am not 100% sure which one is this. Here I need your help.

This is the kit that I'll use for the build. What do you think, is it the right one for this build?

Since I saw this picures I though I have to make such Pz. IV someday. Pictures come from Ground Power book abt Pz. IV and are published here for discussion purpose ony.

Here its very clearly visable that tank has air filter which is included in the kit.

And here we see Division Marking.

Thank to this information from Steel Masters

I have identified the unit to be 16th Pz. Div in Italy in 1943 where it was moved after beeing formed again in spring of '43 in France.
Guess this might be 2nd Panzer Regiment ???

After looking at the pictures my guess is that these are early Ausf. H?
They still have early type of drive sprocket that was used in Ausf.G but the antenna was moved from the front right side of upper hull to the back left part of it. Cause of this I think its an early H. What do you think early H or still late G?

Next thing is I have to find out which type of muzzle break it has?

This one common for late G

or this one

I think its the second one that I need for this particulair tank.

I have just ordered Ospreys book about Late PzKpfw IV modelling to help me with this kit that should arrive here next week.

I you have any thoughts that might help me with this kit please let me know.

Chris
