Well after going back through old threads here at PA I got a twitch in the brain to pull out a kit I'd been holding onto and that's the Pkw.IV/D from Dragon.
There is only 1 trap in the instructions that I've heard of and thats when the PE parts MA25 and MA26 attach to MA44. It should have been noted that MA44 is MA43.

Stage.7, parts J27 and J31 are numbered wrong on both the instructions and the parts tree. Swap them around [J27 under and J31 on top].

Stage.1, part A26 should be swapped with A25. All other parts fit as instructed.
[found before gluing 27/02/2010]
Stage.17, parts D49 and D50 are numbered the wrong way around in the instructions. D50 has the slot in the port cover and that's on the loaders (righthand) side of the turret.
Any help or hints at this point would be very welcome
