Hi planet
Well, my sherman diorama is coming along nicely to the finish, so I thought that I'll start a new thread. I've started this small scene between breaks when I had to take some time off from the "Into the Reich" project.
My idea is was to put a T 34 i had for couple of year in my stash, in the time when the Red Army launched series of attacks agains germans after colapse of Stalingrad cauldron. Operation "Zvezda" was planned to recapture Kharkov but then it was stooped by Manstein's commonly known Backhand Blow. And here the story beggins.
Crew from my T 34 from 3rd Tank Army decided to ask a local man to get some info about retreating German troops.
Here's the layout:
The figures (I've made them with Magic Sculp, with Hornet heads and resin boots)
Peasant:

Tank Commander:

Loader smoking a cigarette:

Cottage:

And with the first layer of hay:
T 34 is from tamyia, I will add PE fenders and the rear engine reticular flap.
The cottage is from balsa, I've started painting it with oils. Now it needs some weathering.
Regards
Radek
