Hi Gents,
So, after
the MAZ 537 build I shared with you, I got another project on the way. It is a 1/35 Land Rover, which is not so common, but you'll see how uncommon my personnal approach of the topic is...
I wanted a (Kataeb Christian Phalanx) Lebanese Technical, and only had the Tamiya Rover 7 Ambulance kit to start with
Yes, this ole one
Nevermind !
Extensive surgery expected !
So I started with plasticard and X-Acto... scratchbuilding, chipping, drilling...
All the white parts here under are home made
But it's way too new and ill suited with my scenario... So the Dremel lent a hand...
Then I had to give my car a driver
plus a Dushka manner. The driver turned left on a building corner to take cover after the Land was shot by PLO commandos. This gives the Dshk a good angle of fire, you can see the guy shooting back at the PLO team.
And I want to get my Landie wheels up on a lil' diorama base ! You can see a PLO fighter standing on the building, ready to carry-on and end the job with his AK47.
