Not a build log but these few photo's represent some significant achievements for me.
1. My first completed model, other than a 1/48th scale Spitfire, in over a year.
2. My first ever serious attempt at painting a figure.
3. The first time I have ever been happy enough with a model to even contemplate posting photo's of the finished article to a modeller's forum.
This is, of course, the EMHAR 1/35th scale Whippet Tank of World War One. The accompanying figure is also from EMHAR. I enjoyed the build, it is a relatively simple kit and went together reasonably well. I wanted to use some of the techniques I've learned from this forum and put them together to produce a really weathered looking vehicle. Having a family interest in the Great War, this kit gave me the opportunity to combine several interests at once.
Any comments/criticisms will be welcomed. Maybe, just maybe, this will spur me on to greater efforts. In the meantime, Armour will have to take a backseat as I have just received my first proper commissions, for three 1/48th scale Spitfires!
