M8 Motor Howitzer Carriage

Last Christmas, the president of our model club gave me an old Tamiya M8, with the proviso that I finish it in one year. So everything else is now on hold while I start, and hopefully finish, this kit in the next two months.

Was gonna do it OOB, and then when I was in Minneapolis in June, I found a Verlinden interior.

Now I have Friul tracks and three Eduard PE sets. I got the canceled one 35139, because it has stuff that neither the exterior and interior sets have.

So, I'm working on removing all the styrene that needs to come off. The kit is one of the old kits to be motorized. All that's gone. I'm gonna have to do a little filling on the bottom because of the holes, plus fill a couple sink holes.

More later.
