So, this saturday I went to a hobby shop up in Stockholm to just get some pigments. Since the shop was all sold out of them I got a T-70 from MiniArt. It's a really nice kit and it's coming together quite nice. Had to fix some small air bubbles on the front armor thou. I gonna build it pretty much out of the box, but some things had to be changed.
The first thing I fixed was the netting over the ventilations. I started by drilling out and cutted out the plastic under the air vents. I used some 0.5 styrene that I sanded down a bit and some net I had in my spare box.
I'm gonna leave the turret hatch open for a figure, so I painted the interior white and going to give it some washes. I also painted the whole tank black inside, since I opened up the vents.
Next thing I did was adding the isolation (?) to the exhaust pipe. I used some masking tape, and even thou I thought it was going to be tough, it went quite easy. Going to do the other one next.
This is how far I have got now. I'm going to finnish it as a german tank in a three tone camouflage, so I have a question: Sould I leave the inside of the hatches "soviet green" or should I paint them yellow?
Hope you like it so far!
