Greetings, planeteers!
I wanna share with you my works on a really rare panzer - Pz II Ausf J.
As you most know, Alan makes crappy kits, but with no alternative (except of resin) - no choice. I`m having a "repack" of Alan kit, that is sold by Alan`s succesor - Ark models, but quality is still the same. If you are planning to built a similar kit, make sure you have lots of putty, milliput or styrene, coz you gonna need them.
Ok, here is my prototype. I`ve found several details about this tank (I coudnt find almost nothing about other tanks

). Its panzer number 31 from 221 Panzerschwadron, 4 Kawaleriebrigade, that saw action at Slutsk, Belorussia in June 1944.
Ok, lets come back to the kit. There are not too much pictures of this panzer, but if you`ll manage to get those, you gonna see some "heavy errors" in this kit. First of all: front bullet shield (or how is it called?) They made the model with reversed bullet shield. The only way to fix it, is to make a new out styrene or millitup (my choice

). And of course, I`m gonna add welding seams.
That`s the way it looks now. I think I`m gonna make it even smaller, as on a real panzer below
Next major error is wrong aerial placement. The aerial has to be on the upper backplate, more to the tail on the right side, but not on the left side, as Alan decided according to one shot they`ve had. And some more welding as well.
There are lots of other errors, that are need to be fixed. Thats all for now. See you soon!
