Hi all
Well now the 1/9th Kuble is nearing completion I have started to think about my next build.
I have had this idea going round in my head since I got back into the hobby last year.
It is to have a make shift workshop set up in a French farm yard in May 1944using a Panther and a Kublewagen, both the Panther and the Kubel would be from the Das Reich Division.
This is what I have gathered together so far.
I am also waiting for the Italeri and Plus Models field workshop tools to come through and have the Aber etch brass for the Kubel which arrived today.
I have a few questions I hope you can answer.
1. Which one of the two Panthers would Das Reich have had, the late "A" or the early "G".
2. Is there any aftermarket decals available for Das Reich for the two vehicles I am going to use for France 1944.
3. What etch brass set would you recommend for the Panther.
4. Would you use the tracks that come with the kit or change them to metal ones.
5. Same as above but for the gun barrel.
6. What book or books are the best to buy regarding the vehicles used by Das Reich and also on the colour schemes used by German armour and soft skins.
7. What figures are available that would suit the workshop scenario
