Soviet T-80 (1/72)

Hello again fellow modeler and dear friends.

It’s time to start on a new project. After my previous project I need something a little easier and that won’t take me too much time to finish. So I picked a 1/72 scale Soviet T-80 by Revell. This will be an out of the box build.

So, lets get on with the build.





Started getting the hull together and noticed there is a huge gap between the lower hull and the top hull. Once the tracks and the side skirts are in place you probably wont notice the gap, but I didn't like it. After all "out of the box" does not mean don't fix the obvious mistakes right?...So, I decided to cover it. A couple of styrene strips did the trick.



I spent the rest of the time this weekend sanding road wheels and tracks and since that is pretty boring, I will post more pictures once I assemble them.
