Hi all,
I have decided to start an build log of what is really what Iwill say is my first real go at an armour model (I have put together the old tamiya 222 and Matilda but did not really attemp to weather them etc)
I am hoping for you guidance along the way so make sure you let me know anything you think may be wrong etc.
I actually started this build a few years ago but it was put to the side but now I am hoping this build log will keep me going to get it completed.

I have a plan to build this cat with a fair amount of wear and tear with a Dark Yellow/Red Brown scheme with a dirty worn white wash as tank in question was based around Konigsberg early 1945. My research shows that the unit was formed with 45 King Tigers on 29th August 1944 so I have put Zimm on her?
Here is where I am at today:
It is my first go at making Zimm, I have used tamiya Polyester Putty with the Tmiya zimm tool.
I have also put a bit of texture on the upper surface of the hull using Mr Surfacer 500.
As you can see I have already painted the wheel is the base colors and am starting on building the Draon Magic Tracks (first go at tracks).
Without knowing any better my plan is the build and paint the tracks and then get them and then I will seal up the whole lower section prior to painting the hull/turret?
Let me know what you think or if you can see any obvious mistakes.
